There’s nothing that brings them more joy than spending time together as a family,” an insider says of Lively and Reynolds.
“They’d love to have a boy. Blake thinks it would be adorable to see Ryan doing those father-son things, like coaching little league,” dishes the insider.
“Not that he can’t do those activities with the girls, but a boy would even things out at home, and it would be a whole new adventure.”
Of course, the duo, who have been married since 2012, know that handling four kids would be a lot of work — especially with 44-year-old Reynolds' career busier than ever — but the insider says it’s nothing that Lively, 33, can’t handle. “Ryan sees how well Blake’s got this parenting thing covered,” the insider shares.
“She’s such a great mom. She could easily take on one more.”

“Blake’s work schedule is pretty clear right now, so the timing is perfect. And being a mother is her top priority.”
Things are especially great between the couple at the moment, so no one is worried about any added stress a new baby might bring to the household.
Lockdown brought them closer together,” spills the insider. “With Ryan at home instead of on set, he saw how much Blake does for their girls on a daily basis. He’s more attuned to her needs and is excited to see what’s next for their family.”
