The high profile pair spent six weeks in Canada between November 2019 and January 2020 before making their shocking move from Frogmore Cottage permanent by snagging a home in sunny California.
Shortly after, it was announced they would officially be leaving their royal roles in February 2020.
"Following conversations with The Duke, The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service," a statement announcing their split read. "While all are saddened by their decision, The Duke and Duchess remain much loved members of the family."

The former royals welcomed their first daughter at 11:40 a.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021, “in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, Calif.,” according to a statement from the couple's press secretary.
It was revealed her name was Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, which honored both Harry's late mother, Princess Diana, as well as Queen Elizabeth II.
