Cardi posted a snap of her booty being grabbed by her man, Offset, via Instagram on Tuesday, January 5, but her round butt was quickly mistaken for a protruding belly. The rapper held onto one of her butt cheeks in the sultry snap, and fans may have mistaken Cardi’s extensive tattoo that stretches around her thigh, butt and back for a pink piece of clothing to hint that a baby girl was on the way.

Ultimately, fans were bummed she wasn't expecting baby No. 2 just yet. "We need kulture's sibling cardi!!" one fan told the singer.

"That’s what I thought when I first saw it, but then I realized it was your tattoo lol!" another replied.

Cardi gave birth to her daughter, Kulture, in 2018 and recently received criticism when the 2-year-old walked in on Cardi playing "WAP" — but she quickly turned the racy song off.

"Ya needs to stop with this already! I’m not Jojo Siwa!" Cardi wrote on Twitter.

"I don’t make music for kids I make music for adults. Parents are responsible on what their children listen too [sic] or see. I’m a very sexual person but not around my child just like every other parent should be," she added.

"There’s moms who are strippers. Pop pu**y, twerk all night for entertainment does that mean they do it around their kids? No! Stop making this a debate. It’s pretty much common sense."

Pregnancy rumors circulated again in September 2020 when Cardi shared that she was eating chocolate chip cookies covered in ketchup, and fans thought the only logical explanation for the odd food combo was that she had a bun in the oven.

Well, it seems like we'll have to wait for the actual announcement whenever she's ready!
