Carrie Underwood Flies Solo To 75th ACM Awards As Career Puts Mike Fisher Marriage In Jeopardy
While Carrie Underwood stunned on the red carpet at the 75th Academy of Country Music Awards, it was hard not to notice she was missing her eye candy.
The "Before He Cheats" songstress was all smiles ahead of the award show — where she and Jason Aldean won Single of the Year for "If I Didn't Love You" — while showing off her toned legs in a shimmery silver dress and strappy heels. Posing alone, Underwood kept her long blonde locks down and matched her jaw-dropping number with a sparkling purse. She finished off her mesmerizing look with a Yellow Gold & Diamond Long Ring by YESSAYAN.
Underwood's decision to fly solo to the beloved event on Monday, March 7, comes after OK! exclusively learned she and husband Mike Fisher have hit another rough patch. Though it's unclear why her hubby wasn't in attendance, the inside source spilled Underwood's career was the thing driving a wedge between the lovebirds.
“They’ve been bickering and butting heads nonstop,” spilled the source, who candidly added: “It’s not pretty."

Though the parents of Isaiah, 6, and Jacob, 3, had a chance to reconnect during lockdown, everything seemed to change when Underwood began focusing on her career again ahead of her "Reflection" residency in Las Vegas, leaving the retired hockey pro, 41, left to pick up the slack.
The 38-year-old normally runs a tight ship on the home front, said the insider, but work has her "super stressed," which is causing a "strain" at home.
"She’s turning up the heat on poor Mike," dished the source. "The word is she nags at him about everything from letting the kids eat junk to not picking up after himself. On the surface, it’s small stuff, but it builds up and then she explodes."
And as the blonde babe gears up to celebrate her birthday on March 10, Fisher is "running out of patience with her" and having to deal with "how type A she is," as the insider concluded: "this time is different because it seems no matter what he does, it always falls short of Carrie’s expectations."
The former American Idol winner and pro athlete were introduced through a mutual friend in 2008 and instantly hit it off, with Fisher getting down on one knee in 2009. The troubled couple wed in July of the following year at the Ritz-Carlton resort on Lake Oconee, Georgia.
