On Monday, March 22, the Chicago actress, 52, took to Instagram to display her impressive musical skills, as she played the piano while belting a Rikkie Lee Jones song. "A little Rikkie Lee Jones by Catherine Zeta-Jones on a Monday ( not Saturday) afternoon 🎶," Zeta-Jones captioned the video of her showing off her raspy vocal range while singing about "years going by."
Despite being mainly known for her acting roles, the Welsh star has put her musical skills to work in films such as Chicago — for which she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress — as well as the 2009 Broadway revival of A Little Night Music, for which she took home the coveted Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical.
Zeta-Jones may have just been having fun with performing for her Instagram followers or teasing more musical projects she has underway, as the actress has been focusing on her career while seemingly putting her marriage on the back burner.

When Zeta-Jones did not appear on Douglas' arm for the 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in February, her absence was the talk of the town. “As Catherine’s friends will tell you, she loves a red-carpet event, so it just seemed odd that she wouldn’t be there to support him," an insider spilled.
