Chrissy Teigen's Latest Tragedy: Model Reveals Family Dog Pippa Died In Her 'Arms'

Amid a difficult few months, Chrissy Teigen announced that she and husband John Legend's beloved family dog died.

Teigen took to Instagram on Thursday, July 15, to share the sad news via a selfie with the pooch.

"Our beautiful little pippa just died in my arms, not long ago," the 35-year-old explained. "She was 10, I remember picking her up in Gainesville and documenting our trip home."

Teigen described Pippa as a "a sassy broad โ€” loved her pearl necklace and never took s**t from ANY new dog we brought in."

"Our road dog with Sade, a tour dog for years. we loved her so much. We love you sweet girl. I know youโ€™re giving puddy hell up there. Thank you for giving us your whole life," Teigen concluded, with a nod to her English bulldog Puddy, who died in 2018.

Fans and friends rushed to the comments to offer their condolences. "๐Ÿ˜โค๏ธ๐Ÿถ," Paris Hilton commented, while Stephanie Shepherd said: "Iโ€™m so sorry Chrissy! Binx is sending his love to you and the fam ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค."

Pippa's passing came hours after Teigen opened up about feeling lost while being in the "cancel club." After old tweets directed at Courtney Stodden emerged earlier this year, in which Teigen allegedly told the then 16-year-old to take a "dirt nap," she has been considerably less active on social media.

Teigen apologized for her past actions but exited Netflix's Never Have I Ever, had her cookware line pulled from Target and reportedly lost a Bloomingdale's deal amid the controversy.

"Going outside sucks and doesnโ€™t feel right, being at home alone with my mind makes my depressed head race," the model lamented.

"It's hard to talk about it in that sense because obviously you sound whiney when youโ€™ve clearly done something wrong," she admitted, adding that it "sucks."
