'She Tried Her Best': Chrissy Teigen Reveals How Kim Kardashian Is Holding Up Following Her Split From Kanye West
Chrissy Teigen gave an update on how one of her besties, Kim Kardashian, is doing amid her divorce from Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West — and it seems like the reality star is slowly but surely coming to terms with being single.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the Cravings cookbook author told host Andy Cohen that Kardashian is forging ahead despite trying “her best” in the marriage.
"Kim is doing okay. I know Kim gave her all for everything," Teigen said on the Tuesday, April 20, episode. "It's honestly a shame that it didn't work out because I saw them being a forever relationship."
The model also disclosed how close she and her husband, musician John Legend, are with the Kardashian-West clan. However, it seems that West is taking some time to himself.
"I will say, I have been definitely been in touch with Kim more than John has been in touch with Kanye," Teigen shared. "If anyone knows Kanye, it's that he goes off the grid. It's hard to ever contact Kanye," she added with a laugh.

Things have been challenging for the power couple as they navigate their new normal. An OK! insider previously revealed that the SKIMS founder and the rapper are “not on the same page” when it comes to their future as a family, but that Kardashian wants West to remain in the kids' lives.
"Kim has made it clear that Kanye can talk to his children anytime he wants," the insider disclosed. "She has never threatened to keep him from the kids. She only requires that he is not going to damage them. Kanye can FaceTime the kids anytime he wants. He hasn't been great about that, but everyone is encouraging him to do it."
Sources say that the KKW beauty mogul and rapper are seeking joint physical and legal custody of their four children: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, who turns 2 next month.
Though West and Kardashian have been pretty tight-lipped about their troubled relationship since news of their split made headlines, OK! recently reported that the rapper is apparently frustrated that fans think his soon-to-be ex-wife was the one who wanted the divorce.
"Actually it was him saying for a year that they have nothing in common except the kids and he wanted out," an insider explained, adding that Kardashian was the one who "pulled all the stops to try to save the marriage."
