Defying gravity! Supermodel Christie Brinkley is flaunting her fit physique less than two months after getting hip replacement surgery. 

The 66-year-old icon showed off her famous curves in a turquoise bikini top accompanied with black spandex shorts. “Cliffhanger…,” she captioned the series of shots over the weekend, showing her posing cliffside on the beach. 

Fans flooded her comments, praising Brinkley for being a role model to women of any age. “You’re my goals!🔥❤️,” one user wrote, while another said: “You are such inspiration to me! You look amazing!!! I’m 51 and exercising because I know I can still look good! Thanks❤️.”

Brinkley revealed that she recently had hip surgery to deal with pain from a past injury. “New Year, New Hip! Yes that’s a band aid on my hip,” she captioned a photo on Instagram last week. “I injured my hip in a back country skiing helicopter crash on a mountaintop in Telluride many years ago. The pain in my hip got a little bit worse each year. 12 years ago I was told it needed to be replaced but the surgery was daunting ! And I had things to do!” 

However, she admitted that during quarantine she decided to finally “do something about the pain that had progressively influenced my decisions.”

“I had my surgery at Thanksgiving and I was dancing in my kitchen by New Years Eve,” she added. “Now I can focus on getting back in shape and rebuilding my strength. Never (too) old to get hip!”
