Demi Lovato Faces Backlash For Performing With All Time Low After Slamming Lollapalooza For Packed Crowd Amid Pandemic
Demi Lovato has come under fire for hitting the stage during the coronavirus pandemic.
The 28-year-old posted a viral photo of the packed crowd at Lollapalooza on their Instagram Story on Monday, August 2, writing, "C'mon Y'all! Good morning from lollapalooza yes this pic is real. There is still a pandemic happening!"
The four-day event in Chicago reportedly welcomed 100,000 people, but the festival required that all attendees either provided proof of being vaccinated or a negative test result in order to gain entry. It ran from July 29 through August 1 at Grant Park.
Now, Lovato is in the hot seat for appearing on stage with All Time Low over the weekend to perform their collaboration "Monsters."
"Y'all were so fun!!! Thanks for having me @alltimelow," Lovato reportedly wrote on a since-removed Instagram Story, per Instagram user @givethemkamala.

"9000 beautiful faces in Anaheim last night, thank you @ddlovato and @HBARONGRACIE [Heather Baron-Gracie] for joining us!" the band tweeted on Sunday, August 8.
"Thanks for the surprise," one fan replied.
"thank you for giving us so much energy on stage, I felt so happy and I know everyone else did too," another wrote.
While fans who attended the show in Anaheim, Calif., seemed to have a good time, others called Lovato out for their previous comments.
"… a chance to be hypocritical," another user responded.
"They’re such a hypocrite. In the first pic they contradicted them self with the turkey then In the second pic they complained about people attending lollapalooza in huge numbers only to perform in front of a huge crowd a week later," another user said.
Lovato was recently criticized for reportedly attending a screening of Paris Hilton's Cooking With Paris. Fans were not happy when the "Dancing with the Devil" singer shared a video dancing with Nikita Dragun on their Instagram Story, before being spotted kissing YouTuber Tana Mongeau on the cheek.
