Denise Richards Spotted For First Time Since Daughter Sami Sheen Seemingly Put Her On Blast After Claiming She Was Trapped In An 'Abusive' Home

Denise Richards was spotted for the first time since her daughter Sam “Sami” Sheen made headlines after she claimed she was previously “trapped” in an “abusive” home.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was snapped at the airport on Friday, September 17, after she flew back to Los Angeles from Canada.
The mother-of-three — who shares daughters Sami and Lola Rose, 16, with ex-hubby Charlie Sheen — appeared frazzled as she made her way through the airport. Richards also is the mom to adopted daughter Eloise.
Richards wore no makeup and her blonde locks appeared untamed in the snaps published by Daily Mail.
As OK! previously reported, 17-year-old Sami took to TikTok and appeared to blast her mom and husband Aaron Phypers. (The post has since been set to private.) “1 year ago today: trapped in an abusive household, hated myself, would go days without eating or sleeping, insanely depressed, hated school, etc…,” Sami wrote alongside a tearful clip.
The video then cut to a more upbeat teen smiling with the caption: “Now: finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happy single, full of self love, and dropped out of high school :).”
The Wild Things star was reportedly devastated by her offspring’s shocking comments. “Denise set normal rules that any parent would be setting,” a source spilled after Sami claimed Richards kicked her out of the house in July, adding Sami “didn’t want to follow the rules.”
Meanwhile, “Charlie didn’t support implementing Denise’s rules. He has a different way of parenting and Sami decided to live with her dad.”
In a statement to OK!, Charlie — via his rep Jeff Ballard — spilled, “Sam’s amazing. I love her and all my children unconditionally. We’re having a ball. GED here we come” after the videos surfaced.
The Bold and the Beautiful alum and Charlie split in 2005 while she was pregnant with their second child. The former flames finalized their divorce in 2006 and the actress married Phypers in 2018.
