President Donald Trump lashed out at Fox News anchor Shannon Bream in a pair of Sunday posts on Truth Social, calling her "Milktoast"— a mangled spelling of milquetoast.
The rants followed an episode of Fox News Sunday that featured an interview with Attorney General Todd Blanche about White House construction projects.
Bream pressed Blanche over the administration's $1.8 billion "Anti-Weaponization" slush fund and questioned why the White House was proceeding with a ballroom construction project without congressional approval.

Donald Trump complained that 'Fox News Sunday' was biased against him.
“We don’t believe we have to go to Congress,” Blanche said.
The petulant POTUS later complained that the program used outdated, months-old photos of the construction site instead of updated imagery.
Donald Trump Targets Shannon Bream

Donald Trump referred to Shannon Bream as 'Milktoast.'
In addition, he wrote that Fox News Sunday is "so biased against MAGA, 'TRUMP,' and Republicans, that it is ridiculous!" He added that watching Bream was "like watching the Worst of Fake News CNN."
“During Shannon Bream’s show, they showed pictures of the Military Complex/Ballroom site at the White House. Unfortunately, the pictures were months old, before much work had been started. Now the hardest work is substantially complete, with work on the roof/DronePort to begin very shortly. Why didn’t Shannon Bream, 'Milktoast' to her friends, show the updated pictures instead of ones that were so old and irrelevant?” he spewed.
Trump attacked Bream, Bret Baier, former Fox News anchor Chris Wallace, and Fox News generally for broadcasting what he labeled "Fake Polls.”

'They're Just Embarrassing Themselves'

The POTUS claimed Fox News was showing old photos of the White House's ballroom construction.
This came after the network aired polling figures indicating his popularity was underwater, with a 39 percent approval rating against 61 percent disapproval.
“Even Chris Wallace was better, and he was really bad (WHERE IS CHRIS WALLACE?). Also, she, Brett B, and others should stop showing Fake Polls — They’re just embarrassing themselves. It reminds me of the November 5, 2024 Presidential Election, just before winning IN A LANDSLIDE, including 7 out of 7 Swing States, the Popular Vote, 86 percent of the Counties, and the Electoral College, 312 to 226! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he posted.

Donald Trump accused the network of publishing 'fake polls.'
This event marks the second notable instance in which Trump has used the moniker "Milktoast" against Bream.
He previously leveraged the term in June during a separate online post criticizing her for not strongly defending his administration's immigration enforcement numbers against historical data from the Obama administration.
While some fellow network personalities — such as liberal panelist Jessica Tarlov — have fired back at the president's network call-outs, Bream has consistently ignored the personal broadsides to focus on her reporting.
