Donald Trump has sued Hilary Clinton, Democratic leadership and a slew of others saying they conspired to link his political campaign to Russia.
Knewz reported the suit was filed on Thursday, March 24, in a Florida federal court.
“While their multi-pronged attack was underway, the Defendants seized on the opportunity to publicly malign Donald J. Trump by instigating a full-blown media frenzy," the suit lodged against the 74-year-old politician and others read. "Indeed, the Clinton Campaign and DNC — admittedly on a ‘mission’ to ‘raise the alarm’ about their contrived Trump-Russia link — repeatedly fed disinformation to the media and shamelessly promoted their false narratives."

According to the filing, the alleged "false" information spread that Trump's campaign colluded with Russia to interfere with the 2016 presidential election was not limited to the public, as it led to an FBI investigation.
Despite groups finding several ties between the former president's campaign and Russian leaders, Trump is refuting the allegations and went ahead with filing the suit, as Knewz reported.
