Emily Ratajkowski Gives Birth To First Child — Find Out The Baby's Adorable Nickname
Emily Ratajkowski is mom!
The 29-year-old model took to the 'gram on Thursday, March 11, to share the joyous news that she had given birth to her first child.
"Sylvester Apollo Bear has joined us earth side. Sly arrived 3/8/21 on the most surreal, beautiful, and love-filled morning of my life," she wrote.

Back in October, Ratajkowski announced she and her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard were expecting their first child. True to form, the fashionista broke the news on her social media with a highly-produced and stylized video, directed by her friend Lena Dunham, that featured the model stripping down naked to reveal her new curves and little baby bump.

The My Body author also debuted her bump as the digital cover star for Vogue magazine that month. In an essay for the magazine, she revealed she did not want to know the baby's gender.
"When my husband and I tell friends that I’m pregnant, their first question after 'Congratulations' is almost always 'Do you know what you want?'" she wrote. "We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then. Everyone laughs at this.
"There is a truth to our line, though, one that hints at possibilities that are much more complex than whatever genitalia our child might be born with: the truth that we ultimately have no idea who — rather than what — is growing inside my belly," she continued. "Who will this person be? What kind of person will we become parents to? How will they change our lives and who we are? This is a wondrous and terrifying concept, one that renders us both helpless and humbled."
Ratajkowski tied the knot with Bear-McClard in 2018.
