In June, Stevie posted a selfie on Instagram and said their pronouns are "they/she/he." They deleted all previous posts on their Instagram account for a fresh start.
The "Lose Yourself" singer reportedly adopted Stevie in 2005. The rapper, who was born Marshall Mathers, and Stevie's mother, Kim Scott, wed in 1999 and split in 2001 before they remarried for a short period in 2006. They share 25-year-old daughter Hailie Scott and the 48-year-old also adopted Alaina, 28, who is the daughter of Scott's late twin sister.
Stevie's biological father reportedly passed away last year aged 40.
Scott was reportedly hospitalized on July 30 after attempting to take her life but is said to be at home and recovering, as previously reported by OK!. The 46-year-old's mother, Kathy Sluck, passed away only days before on July 23.
Stevie was mentioned in the obituary for Sluck. "Kathleen was a exceptional mom to her two daughters; Kim and Dawn; and was overjoyed to become a grandmother to her grandchildren; Alaina, Adam, Hailie, Stevie, P.J., and Parker," it read.
A user claiming to be Kim commented on Sluck's memory page, The Sun reported. "I don't even know where to begin mom!!! I don't even know how to do this without you I just wanted you to not hurt or suffer or fight for me anymore!!! But I’m sure you know that!!!" the lenghty comment read.
"How can I go crazy anymore without you here to be the strength and kick in the a** I need to get better???! I hope you know how f****** much I love the s**t out of you and how much the kids love you!!! I hope you know every choice I made was to make you a little happier and your life a little easier!!!" the commenter wrote.
