Eminem's Child Stevie Laine Seemingly Calls Out Rapper On TikTok For Lying To Them About Being Adopted
Eminem's child Stevie Laine, 19, recently came out as non-binary, and yet again, they surprised the world with another TikTok revelation posted the same day, this time seemingly accusing their rapper father of misleading them about being adopted.
Laine is Eminem's ex-wife Kim Scott's biological child that she had when she was with a tattoo artist named Eric Hartter, but they were later legally adopted by the "Love The Way You Lie" singer in 2005.
Hartter passed away in 2020, but according to Laine's video, they were not aware of this until after his death.
The TikTok shows Stevie in black rimmed glasses and a grey hoodie sweatshirt, as the soft, whimsical Adventure Time song "Remember Me" plays in the background.
The captions read: "He's not your real dad. You're adopted." (This line is allegedly someone outside of their family saying this to Laine.)
Stevie mouthed along to the words on the screen, miming approaching the "Lose Yourself" rapper to ask him if that was true.
"Youre my real dad right? am i adopted [sic]?" to which their father replied "I am your real dad."
The next images on the screen explain that Laine later found an article about her biological father's passing, and when they asked their grandmother about it, she replied "im sorry they wouldn't tell you about him" supposedly affirming that they did purposely keep that information from Laine.
This video was posted not long before Scott was hospitalized for attempted suicide following the tragic passing of her mother, Kathy Sluck.
The grieving 46-year-old allegedly penned a heartbreaking goodbye message to her mother via social media sometime prior to her attempt.
"I don't even know where to begin mom!!!" the emotional comment read. "I don't even know how to do this without you I just wanted you to not hurt or suffer or fight for me anymore!!! But I’m sure you know that!!!"
"I hope I didn’t let you down!!! I will miss you more than you could have ever imagined and I will never be the same without you!!"
Scott was later reportedly found by authorities on the floor of her bathroom with a "large amount of smeared blood" that came from cuts on her legs. She is now safe and recovering at home.
