Fire Breaks Out At Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith's $42 Million Malibu Mansion, EMTs Reportedly Treat Victim At The Scene
Fire trucks and an ambulance rushed to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's $42 million mansion in Calabasas, Calif., following reports of a fire on the property, which left one person needing to be treated by EMTs at the scene.
On Monday, September 20, fire trucks were seen arriving to the dream home Smith built on Cold Canyon Road, per Page Six. Video footage of the scene reportedly showed an ambulance arriving at the sprawling estate after just 3:30 p.m., followed by several other cars and a utility vehicle.
A witness explained the fire broke out on the property and caused “extensive smoke damage,” the outlet reported. Someone at the scene needed medical treatment, but was not taken to the hospital. It's unclear who the victim was, as neither Hollywood star was seen in the footage.
The Pursuit of Happyness actor built the family's massive estate by buying neighboring homes over the years. The stunning compound was featured on Architectural Digest in 2011, two years before they put it on the market for $42 million, Curbed reported. In the end, the Smiths decided to keep the property.
Prior to their home scare, the famous family was busy celebrating the mother-of-two's 50th birthday. Over the weekend, Pinkett Smith threw a '70s themed roller rink b-day bash with a celebrity guest list that included her son, Jaden Smith, Trey Smith — who the Grammy Award winner shares with ex-wife Sheree Zampino — Lauren London, Jordyn Woods and her boyfriend, Karl-Anthony Towns.

Pinkett Smith's daughter, Willow Smith, was unable to attend her mom's celebration because of her performance in Las Vegas for the Life Is Beautiful Festival.
Nevertheless, it looked like the Red Table Talk co-host enjoyed her special night, as she posted videos of her close pals skating around on the outdoor rink and enjoying the music. Pinkett Smith also shared a video of herself skating while pointing the camera up to the moon. "I got to skate with Mother Moon last night for the first time in my life," she wrote alongside the clip.
Pinkett Smith previously got candid about turning the monumental age while speaking to PEOPLE, sharing that she's learned to stop convincing people of her own worth. The Girls Trip actress explained: "Coming into the last four years for me has really been about that transformation about coming to the self and having acceptance for the self and having to go through many different kinds of personal journeys."
"To come to that place of really grounding myself in that understanding," Pinkett Smith said. "That's been the most beautiful part of almost turning 50."
