Lori Loughlin is putting her months of scandal behind her and moving forward.
The GAC Family Network released the very first sneak peek of When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas, the season 2 premiere of the spin-off of the popular drama When Calls The Heart.
The short clip shows Loughlin marveling at the beauty of a Christmas tree and bonding with her son Cody (played by Carter Ryan) as the town of Brookfield prepares to host a Christmas festival.
This comes after a source spilled that the Summerland star feels this show is her "big shot at redemption."
As OK! previously reported, the 57-year-old actress pled guilty and served a two month jail sentence after paying $500,000 in bribes to get her children — Olivia Jade, 22, and Isabella, 23 — into the University of Southern California.
But according to a source, she is eager to get back to her work in television and put this whole mess behind her. “She’s psyched, but humbled,” dished the source, adding “She’s grateful for the opportunity to reprise her character because it’s her big shot at redemption.”
“She is a little nervous about things going smoothly, but she’s going to put her head down and work hard,” the source commented, admitting the actress is aware there will be fans will "find it hard to forgive her" but she is hoping that this show will only lead to more projects in the future. “She’s ready to give this her all.”
When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas is set to debut on December 18 on GAC Family.
