Howie Mandel is having second thoughts after apologizing to Kelly Ripa for snapping at her on Live.
During a guest appearance on the Tuesday, March 31, episode of Billy Bush's "Hot Mics" podcast, Mandel reflected on his feelings of "regret" following his viral clip saying "sorry" to the beloved talk show host for fueling a tense interaction on the set of Live with Kelly and Mark last month.
"Who was offended?" Bush questioned as Mandel sat down in the studio for an appearance on his show.
'I Don't Believe in Apologizing'

Howie Mandel 'kind of regrets' making a post apologizing to Kelly Ripa.
"I don't know. I've been reading articles on the internet, and if somebody is offended, if somebody feels that I did wrong, then I apologize," the America's Got Talent judge said.
However, Mandel admitted, "I don't believe in apologizing, as I said in that post."
The former Deal or No Deal host then confessed, "I kind of regret making the post. Because I don't think that you should apologize for a joke."

'I Just Think I Look Good'

Howie Mandel clashed with Kelly Ripa on 'Live' after she made a comment about his age.
Mandel, 70, further dished on the situation that caused the on-air spat between him and Ripa, 55, in the first place, as he elaborated on why he didn't appreciate the All My Children actress making a comment about his age while complimenting his looks on her talk show.
"I do agree, and people are saying it wherever I go now, I do think I look good. And I don't think the caveat is for 70. I just think I look good," he explained.
Mandel said the ordeal has caused him to "focus more" on his "exterior" and how he "project[s]" himself, noting, "I don't know if that's healthy."

Howie Mandel Didn't 'Mean to Cause Any Disruption' on 'Live' Set

Howie Mandel said he 'didn't mean to embarrass anybody' after snapping at Kelly Ripa on 'Live.'
"Up until a couple of weeks ago, I [didn't] really focus on my looks. I focus on staying healthy and vibrant," he declared.
"I feel bad. I don't know what's going on, and I don't know when this will end. I hope it ends soon, because I didn't mean to cause any disruption," Mandel expressed of his Live dispute. "I didn't mean to embarrass anybody."
The comedian mentioned he "now understand[s]" how people "who are known for their looks, predominantly," feel when making red carpet appearances or sitting down for interviews.
'Can We Talk About Your Look Right Now?'

Howie Mandel comedically wore a brunette wig while appearing on Billy Bush's 'Hot Mics' podcast.
Bush, 54, eventually interrupted Mandel to ask, "Can we talk about your look right now?"
"Something's different," Bush quipped, as Mandel sat in front of a microphone with a brunette wig on his head. "You don't have hair on your head, and now today, I don't know, you have a lot of hair on your head."
In response, Mandel comedically stared at Bush in silence before hilariously storming off set, acting bothered by the question.
