Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley have just put those pesky romance rumors to rest — by confirming the speculation is true.
The Bleachers frontman, 37, and 26-year-old — who share an 11-year age difference — were photographed enjoying a day out in the Big Apple on Saturday, August 14. In one shot, obtained by Page Six, the two hugged as they waited on line outside of Milk Bar.
In another snap, Antonoff and the actress shared a smooch as they continued on with their stroll.
The pair have had the rumor mill in overdrive this summer, after various outlets reported that they had been spending time together following Antonoff’s split from Carlotta Kohl.
Though both Antonoff and Qualley are both successful in their respective careers — the New Jersey native is a frequent collaborator of Taylor Swift’s, while Andie MacDowell’s youngest daughter has become a rising star in Hollywood with a role in Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood (which Antonoff's ex-girlfriend Lena Dunham also starred in) — their previous romantic histories have long preceded them.
Antonoff famously dated Girls creator Dunham for five years before they called it off in January 2018. Despite their split, the former flames remained friendly — and Dunham spoke lovingly about her ex last year. "I was 25. I look back and we had a great ride, we cared for each other, but you know what? We were both starting our careers and that was our true passion," she told Cosmopolitan UK. "The love you have for someone doesn’t disappear because you don’t have them; it’s just logistically it doesn’t work any more."
For his part, Antonoff has stayed mostly mum on their split, but he publicly showed his support for Dunham — who is currently dating Peruvian musician Luis Felber — in 2018 when she revealed that she went underwent a hysterectomy.
Meanwhile, Qualley was previously linked to actor Shia LaBeouf. The former flames raised eyebrows when they were spotted making out at LAX airport in December, days after FKA Twigs sued the Even Stevens alum for sexual assault and battery.
As OK! previously reported, Qualley and LaBeouf split up in January of this year.
