Jamie Lynn Spears will be making her return to television.
The actress, 30, made the announcement on Instagram on Wednesday, December 15 that she will be coming back to the hit Netflix series Sweet Magnolias.
"NOREEN IS BACKKKKKK!!! so grateful to be a part of this amazing community🙏🏻FEBRUARY 4th, 2022 SEASON 2," Jamie wrote alongside a photo of her back in action on screen.
According to Radar, the announcement comes after a Change.org petition was started in June to remove the Zoey 101 star — who plays Noreen Fitzgibbons, a pregnant former mistress of character Bill Townsend — from the series. The document has since racked up over 19,000 signatures.
The petition's creator Makalah Mcnatt stated, "Jamie Lynn Spears has been apart of the disgusting dehumanizing conservatorship of her sister Britney Spears."

"We've learned the truth & how Jamie Lynn is just as corrupt & responsible as the people who put her sister in that conservatorship," the petition continued. "She lives off her sisters hard earned money, her sister doesn't even have access to her own money but Jamie Lynn & the rest of the Spears family does. Remove Jamie Lynn immediately!!!"
Britney's sister's acting news comes as reports have surfaced that the pop star — whose conservatorship was terminated in November — reportedly has no interest in seeing her family over the holiday season.
As OK! previously reported, a source told HollywoodLife that Britney "has no idea if Lynne would like to see her and celebrate the holidays together as a family, but it really doesn’t matter one way or another."
"Britney thinks all of these public outcries are completely fake and just a show for everybody because they know Britney has such a huge fan base," the insider said of what she thinks of her family. "She believes that they are doing it to protect themselves, and not because they genuinely care about Britney or her well-being. If they did, she wouldn’t have had to fight for so many years against her conservatorship."
