Jason Derulo was detained and handcuffed by cops after allegedly getting into a fight.
The artist got into a physical altercation on Monday, January 3, at an unspecified restaurant, Radar reported.
In a video posted to Instagram by The Neighborhood Talk, Derulo can be seen being held down on the ground by several men as a crowd surrounded the chaos unfolding on the sidewalk. Another man in the background was also seen on the ground before security helped him to his feet.
Another clip showed the 32-year-old being escorted out of the restaurant in handcuffs by two police officers while the restaurant security directed people out of the way.
It's unclear what exactly led to the scuffle or whether the dancer was charged with any crimes.
While little is known about what went down, The Neighborhood Talk's comment section was filled with entertained users that couldn't help but find humor in the video.

"The year just started and it’s already lit," one person quipped, as another commented: "Anything Jason Derulo does is funny to me idc." Several other Instagram users simply commented several laughing crying emojis.
Derulo's incident comes only months after he and former girlfriend Jena Frumes announced they broke up shortly after welcoming their first child together.
The two appear to be back together, but it's unclear if Frumes was with the "Take You Dancing" crooner at the time of the altercation, as the new mama shared a comical video of her with the rekindled flames' son on Monday night to her Instagram Story.
Frumes gave birth to their son, Jason King Derulo, in May, and the TikTok couple announced their split in September.
"Jena and I have decided to part ways," Derulo wrote on Twitter at the time, before going on to praise the mother of his son. "She is an amazing mother but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be. Pls respect our privacy in this time."
