Jennifer Lopez Feeling 'Sad And Disappointed' After Alex Rodriguez Split — However 'Once Her Trust Is Broken, She's Done'

Weeks after announcing she'd called it quits with former baseball star Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez, 51, is feeling "sad and disappointed," spills an OK! source.
The power couple — who got together in 2017 and engaged two years later — split amid reports Rodriguez had been DM'ing with Southern Charm's Madison LeCroy.
Confirming their split on Thursday, April 15, the duo said that they were better off as friends. "We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and each other's children," they announced on the TODAY show.
"Jennifer didn't want to believe all the rumors about Alex's wandering eye," says the source, "but the Madison thing was the last straw." It's not the first time Lopez's been fooled by a bad boy — cheating rumors plagued her romances with Sean "Diddy" Combs and Casper Smart.
"She's wiser now," says the source. "Once her trust is broken, she's done."

Now, the star's picking up the pieces. "Jennifer's saving grace is she's got a jam-packed schedule so it won't leave too much time to be broken-hearted," explains the source. "She's a busy mom-of-two with a million projects up in the air. Don't expect her to be dwelling on the past for too long."
At least when it comes to A-Rod. As OK! previously reported, the Latin superstar has been leaning on (and apparently hanging out with!) ex Ben Affleck in recent days. Affleck has reportedly been seen multiple times going to the pop star’s home during the day. The actor — who shares three children with ex Jennifer Garner — was even spotted being picked up in a white Escalade SUV, which apparently belongs to J.Lo, before being escorted to her mansion.
However, as far as Rodriguez is concerned, it seems he is still looking to reconcile. OK! previously reported that Rodriguez wasn't "ready to completely give up" on their relationship. "He's holding out hope and that's why he wanted to meet up with Jennifer," the insider dished, referring to their recent dinner together at the Hotel Bel-Air — the same luxury hotel where the former flames had their first date back in 2017.
However, a source recently dished that there were "too many issues that are unresolved" between the couple.
