Inside Jennifer Lopez & Fiancé Ben Affleck's Secret Wedding Plans To Avoid Press
Bennifer 2.0 fans shouldn't hold their breath for details about the couple's upcoming wedding.
It seems Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez learned a few lessons from their past failed engagement and plan to do things differently this time around, such as keeping the public as far away from their loved-up ceremony as possible.
"After the last time [they got engaged], there won’t be any announcements of when and where they are getting married. They will just do it and then announce," a source spilled to Page Six of their plans.

The rekindled flames were first engaged in 2002 but postponed their nuptials the following year before parting ways in 2004. After several years apart, with both Hollywood stars marrying and having children with other partners, the Gone Girl actor, 49, and the global superstar, 52, reunited in April 2021.
Given that their first engagement came crashing down around them, the insider spilled that the A-list couple isn't taking any chances of their wedding news being leaked to the press and paparazzi.
“Friends will be invited to something like a birthday and then it will turn out to be a wedding and they will get married in front of like 30, 40 people," said the source, who pointed out J.Lo isn't going to "jinx" things this time around.

Bennifer was the center of media attention back in 2002, resulting in them postponing their initial wedding and even going so far as to consider using fake brides to distract the paps. At the time, the young couple released a statement, explaining: "Due to the excessive media attention surrounding our wedding, we have decided to postpone the date."
"When we found ourselves seriously contemplating hiring three separate ‘decoy brides’ at three different locations, we realized that something was awry," they candidly expressed in the statement. "We began to feel that the spirit of what should have been the happiest day of our lives could be compromised."
Affleck recently touched on the media frenzy surrounding their relationship while talking to Howard Stern earlier this year. Reflecting on the downfall of their 2000s romance, the father-of-three admitted: "I would say [media attention] was about 50 percent [of what destroyed our relationship]," the first time around.
The power couple has been going full steam ahead ever since reuniting. Apart from making their red carpet debut in September and house hunting for a new place to call home for their joint family, Lopez announced on Friday, April 8, that she and Affleck are engaged.
The "Let's Get Loud" performer shared the joyous news after she was spotted wearing a huge, 8.5 carat green wedding ring.
And while the lovebirds are keeping their wedding plans under lock and key, the brunette babe spilled about Affleck's proposal on Tuesday, April 12, revealing he popped the question while she was taking a bubble bath.
