'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' Cast Films Upcoming Season In The Florida Keys With Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Nowhere In Sight
The gang is almost all here. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast is on their newest adventure — but it appears not everyone is tagging along.
The series' stars — including Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick and Deena Cortese — were photographed in Florida over the weekend filming for the upcoming season.
Seemingly missing from the photos is Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who was expected to be making a return to the show after leaving last season due to mental health issues.
While his costars were living it up on the beach in sunny Florida, Ortiz-Magro took to Instagram to celebrate the most recent milestone in his sobriety journey.
On Sunday, November 7, the reality star posted a snap to his Instagram story announcing that he has been sober for 6 months and 5 days.
As OK! previously reported, the TV personality previously revealed that he was doing better than ever after making some lifestyle changes.
“I feel great, man. Four months sober, I quit drinking,” Ortiz-Magro told TMZ back in August. “Got engaged, full-time father, you know, living a good life.”
At the time, he claimed that he was going to be returning for the show’s upcoming season following a brief hiatus beginning back in May.
“I stepped away [from Jersey Shore] to deal with my mental health, be a father to my child, be a fiancé to my woman,” he explained at the time. “I’ll be back and, you know, all the fans love me and I love them too so I’m gonna give them what they want and I’ll see them soon.”
While the 35-year-old was expected to make a return this season, he appeared to be missing from the photos with the rest of the cast.
It is unclear whether or not Ortiz-Magro will be making his return as promised, but for now the rest of the crew seem to be cruising along without him.

The dynamic duo were hilariously pictured while trying to navigate the sand while wearing flippers on their feet.
Polizzi sported a hot pink bikini top and black shorts while Pivarnick rocked a mini blue bodycon dress.
Pivarnick, who recently purchased a brand new mansion, appeared to be wearing goggles and a snorkle set as part of her ensemble for the day.
