Just Doodling: Johnny Depp Spotted Drawing Pictures During Amber Heard Defamation Trial
Johnny Depp attempted to get his mind off of the tumultuous trial going on in front of him.
On Tuesday, April 26, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 58, was seen drawing pictures during court proceedings on day nine of his defamation trial against former wife Amber Heard.
In a video which took TikTok by storm, Depp could be seen doodling and showing his artwork to his lawyer Benjamin Chew. The attorney then smiled and nodded simultaneously before conversing with the star about the picture which looked to be a person's face.

The Dark Shadows actor took the art break while waiting for his island estate manager, Tara Roberts, to join the court proceedings via video chat prior to her testimony.
The following day, Depp was once again spotted getting creative with pink and purple markers during a period of downtime in court on Wednesday, April 27.
As OK! previously reported, the award winning star sued his ex-wife, 36, for $50 million, insisting she defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post opinion piece in which she claimed she was a domestic and sexual violence survivor. She did not name Depp in the article.
In the vicious court battle, audio of the former couple's therapy session was heard, giving insight to just how wild their relationship was.

“Walking away is necessary — is necessary, especially between you and I. It is of utmost importance, because the next move, if I don’t walk away — or just go out for a little while — it’s just going to be a bloodbath,” Depp reportedly said in the recorded audio of leaving their rocky marriage. “It’s just not worth it.”
“I’m not trying to say, ‘Hey, by the way, no one in their right mind is going to choose a bloodbath over walking away.’ Obviously, if you’re given the option between the two—,” Heard said, asking the actor to leave before he responded, “Then, why has it been chosen so many times?”
“I’m not asking you to have a bloodbath over walking away. I’m asking you to work it out over prolonging it to making it bigger,” the actress stated. The former couple was married in 2015 before calling it quits in 2017.
