During Amber Heard's Thursday, May 5, testimony in the defamation case lodged against her by ex-husband Johnny Depp, the actor's legal team seemingly looked thrilled by a certain statement made by the Zombieland star.
While on the stand, Heard went on to evoke an allegation that Depp had allegedly pushed his former girlfriend Kate Moss down a flight of stairs when recounting a fight she had with her former husband which involved her sister.
“She threw herself in the line of fire,” Heard said of her sibling. “She was trying to get Johnny to stop. Her back was to the staircase, and Johnny swings at her. I don’t hesitate and wait — I instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs.”
In a TikTok video, a social media user pointed out how one of the Pirates of the Caribbean star's attorneys seemed to bump fists with someone and appeared joyful right after the words left Heard's mouth.
The reason for this may be the fact that it has never been confirmed by the super-model herself that her former boyfriend — who she dated from 1992 until 1994 — ever laid hands on her.
In fact, Moss told Vanity Fair of their former relationship in 2012: "There's nobody that's ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a bit. I believed what he said. Like if I said, 'What do I do?' he'd tell me." So it does not sound like there is any bad blood between the two.

As OK! previously reported, the Dark Shadows actor sued his former wife for $50 million for defamation alleging she destroyed his career with false allegations of domestic violence after penning a 2018 op-ed for The Washington Post in which she claimed she was a domestic and sexual violence survivor. Heard did not directly name Depp in the article and counter-sued for $100 million.
During the week's bombshell testimony, Heard made shocking claims she thought Depp was going to kill her, was insanely jealous and possessive in their marriage and even assaulted her with a liquor bottle.
