Josh Duggar Plans To 'Appeal' Guilty Verdict As 'Stoic' Wife Anna Walks Out Of Courthouse Solo After Hubby Handcuffed: Report

Gearing up to fight!
Josh Duggar's attorneys plan to appeal his case after the disgraced reality TV star was found guilty on two counts of receiving and possessing child pornography.

"We respect the jury's verdict and we look forward to continuing this fight on appeal," one of his attorneys declared outside the courthouse on Thursday, December 9, reported The Sun. "We plan to appeal at the appropriate time."
In photos obtained by the outlet, Josh's wife — who recently welcomed their seventh child — walked out of the Arkansas courthouse solo as her husband was thrown in handcuffs. While the guilty verdict was being read, Anna was reportedly "completely stoic," before being comforted by father-in-law Jim Bob Duggar.
As OK! previously reported, the used cars salesman faces up to 20 years of imprisonment and up to $250,000 in fines on each of the two counts. His sentencing will occur on a later date, which has yet to be announced.
The father-of-seven appeared "teary-eyed" as the jury sealed his fate. He was ordered straight into custody where he was cuffed immediately and hauled away. On his way out of the courtroom a "solemn" Josh stopped to tell Anna he "loved" her.

Following the shocking guilty announcement, Josh's cousin Amy Duggar took to social media to declare "Justice has been served."
"May the children grow up with real Godly men as father figures who will guide and protect them," she tweeted on Thursday. "May the people who were once in disbelief have their eyes opened for the first time."

In a follow-up tweet she wrote, "May the daughters who were abused feel validated. You are truly beautiful and worthy of love. May there be intense counseling / healing. May there be wisdom for all those involved on how to move forward. Thank you Jesus. Justice has been served."
