Erika Jayne has been ordered to hand over the jewels!
In court documents obtained by Radar, the federal court judge in the Chapter 7 bankruptcy case has ordered The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 50, to give up the $1.4 million diamond earrings that were gifted to her by estranged husband Tom Girardi.
This request comes after Jayne had previously refused to to turn in the sparklers that the former attorney, 82, allegedly gifted her with stolen client funds in 2007 after the trustee overseeing the case demanded that she give them back.
The Bravo star's attorney argued that Jayne should not be made to give up the earrings. As OK! previously reported, her lawyer Evan Borges has made the case that since the Pretty Mess author did not know how the gift was paid for, she should not have to give up the earrings.
“First, Erika is completely innocent,” the attorney said. “Not even the trustee alleges that Erika knew the source of funds that her wealthy husband used to buy her a gift of earrings 15 years ago (which replaced a prior set of earrings bought years prior to that).”
However, on Tuesday, February 1, Jayne reached an agreement with the trustee to turn over the earrings under the terms that he will have the jewels appraised to determine the value. The trustee has also agreed not to sell the precious gems.

The judge and the trustee are not the only people who think the entertainer should have handed the baubles over. Jayne's RHOBH costar Garcelle Beauvais made her opinion of the situation known during a recent episode of The Real.
“I would give up the diamonds quickly,” Beauvais told her fellow hosts Loni Love and Adrienne Bailon. “There’s so much more she could do, even if she’s not guilty of knowing everything Tom [Girardi] was doing." The actress — who recently unfollowed Jayne — said during the broadcast.
“When [Erika] shows up to work she is diamond-ed out. She’s got a lot. Getting rid of those diamond earrings isn’t going to hurt her," Beauvais stated.
