While Kanye West is staying in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the deal is reportedly official with a contract and private chef in place.
Insiders told Page Six that the 44-year-old has a contract with the venue to stay there while he finishes his delayed new album, Donda. It was also reported that West has a private chef too.
The "Flashing Lights" hitmaker reportedly stayed at the stadium after hosting a listening party earlier this month and then decided to remain while putting the finishing touches on what is to be his tenth album.
"He’s in a private space inside the building," an insider previously told Page Six with sources explaining that there is said to be a suite in the stadium with an official placard outside the door reading "Donda Studio at Mercedes-Benz Stadium."
Earlier this week, West appeared to give fans a glimpse into his new living quarters when he shared a photo of a cinderblock room with a single bed, a small wardrobe, a TV, weights and sneakers on the floor on Instagram.
The tentative release date for Donda has been reported as August 6. The outlet noted that West’s team announced on Friday, July 30, that the "Famous" singer is planning another event in the stadium for August 5 and is said to want to create something different from the last event to give fans another experience.
Tickets will go on sale for the event on Monday, August 2.
On July 24, a fan attending the Atlanta United soccer game took a photo of West at the stadium, where he seemed to be wearing the same orange outfit and mask from the listening party OK! reported. Page Six made note that Atlanta's squad, The Falcons, has a ticketed practice on August 7.
"We aren’t at liberty to divulge any details as it relates to Mr. West’s stay at the stadium," a representative for the stadium told Page Six.
Donda is named after West's late mother, Donda West, and will follow his 2019 release Jesus Is King.
