Kanye West Returns To Los Angeles After Hiding Out In Wyoming As Kim Kardashian Divorce Drama Heats Up
He’s back! Kanye West was spotted returning to Los Angeles as his messy marital problems with Kim Kardashian continue to make headlines.
West was photographed on Sunday, January 24, at the Van Nuys Airport in L.A. after leaving his ranch in Wyoming, where he has been in hiding since the news broke of his alleged split from the reality star. The rapper looked to be deep in thought as he departed his private jet. He was wearing leather pants and a hoodie.
As OK! previously reported, Kardashian and West’s divorce filing is “imminent,” and the two star’s have been living separately for a while as they navigate the next steps in their relationship. With the rapper reappearing in Los Angeles, does this mean he is ready to proceed with the split as questions regarding the custody of their four children lingers?
OK! has learned that the duo's prenup agreement contains nothing in regards to a custody arrangement for their children, North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 19 months, in case of a divorce, which is consistent with California law. With Kardashian wanting full custody of the kids, it means she is going to have to fight for it.

“Most divorces start with parents getting 50/50 custody. But if Kim or Kanye want to spend more time with their kids, they will need to prove that it would be detrimental for the children to spend time with the other parent,” a source exclusively dished to OK!, noting that “if Kim wants full custody of the kids, she will need to fight and reveal everything about life behind closed doors with Kanye.
“Kim doesn’t have to prove she is a great mom,” the source continued; her battle now will be “to prove Kanye is a bad dad.” West, who had been in Wyoming up until now, would need permission from his estranged wife in order for the kids to come visit him.
As the “Gold Digger” rapper and Kardashian’s divorce drama has been making headlines for weeks, OK! reported that their kids have been sheltered from the bombshell news. "The kids don't know anything about the problems their parents are having," explained a separate source.
The well-being of the children is a major priority for both West and the KKW Beauty founder. Although Kardashian has hired famous divorce attorney Laura Wasser to handle her billion-dollar divorce, she is most concerned with how the four kids are going to handle the breakup. "She is worried about what a permanent split will be like for all of them…,” the source added.
Page Six was the first to report photos of West arriving in Los Angeles.
