Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker are going from strength to strength by keeping their romance out of the public eye — and away from her family.
Since Jenner, 26, hooked up with Booker, 25, nearly two years ago, “she’s avoided bringing him around her siblings because it usually means some sort of drama,” explains a source.
But now that the clan’s new reality series, The Kardashians, is set to premiere on Hulu this month, momager Kris Jenner “is piling on the pressure to make Devin part of the show, but Kendall’s made it clear that’s never going to happen,” adds the source.
A source says the model prefers spending time with the basketball star in Arizona, as opposed to her family 'hood of Calabasas, Calif.
The supermodel, who’s been playing house with the pro-basketballer at his $3.2 million desert oasis outside Phoenix, “is very protective of Devin and their relationship and doesn’t share much with her family because she doesn’t totally trust them not to talk about it,” the source continues. “That irritates them to no end, but there’s not a whole lot that they can do about it.”
As OK! previously reported, Booker recently opened up (somewhat) about his super private relationship with the reality star being thrust in the public eye. When asked by the Wall Street Journal if life in the spotlight was difficult he replied, "I wouldn’t say hard."
"Honestly, I’m enjoying life to the fullest, and that came off my tongue so easily because it wasn’t always this way," Booker continued. "But I feel like I’m in a good place right now."
"I love my family, I love the people around me, and I love the impact that I get to have on this world, the younger generation under me and the kids who look up to me," he added.
