Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Meet In Secret To Discuss Divorce Details — 'They Want This To Be A Gradual Process,' Dishes Insider
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West called it quits on their marriage back in February, but a friend says the estranged exes have been secretly meeting up while the rapper is in L.A. to try to iron out their divorce details. West currently has been in and out of his home, whereas Kardashian tends to stay home with her children.
West, who retreated to his $28 million Wyoming ranch after the split, has privately visited Kardashian at the Hidden Hills, Calif., mansion they used to share "a couple times," says the pal. "It’s only for an hour or so when the kids [North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2] aren’t home, and they keep it quite formal."

The couple is dealing with an incredibly complicated divorce, though much of it has been kept out of the public eye. The two stars are doing their best to shield their children from the drama. "They want this to be a gradual process while they figure out boundaries that will make the negotiations easier," says the insider.
Boundaries will take some time to establish, as there are currently many other stars consistently associated with the two.
The Grammy winner, who’s recently been romancing model Irina Shayk, 35, has asked for joint legal and physical custody and "is far from happy with the situation as is," notes the friend.
Though West himself has been accused of being frantic, he still feels a strong responsibility to be around his children, just as much as his soon-to-be ex-wife. West and Kardashian have been together for almost nine years now, and the split will be an adjustment for all.
As for Kardashian, "she wants to get to a place where they see eye-to- eye as co-parents," the pal adds. "So far, the meetups have been civil, and everyone is hoping it’ll stay that way until they can reach a deal."
