Kris Jenner Says She 'Never Paid A Bill' While Married To Rob Kardashian
It can be hard for Kris Jenner to Keep Up With her finances, especially when she doesn't even know how to pay a bill!
The momager revealed she "never paid a bill" while married to Rob Kardashian, and it was only after they separated that Jenner finally took control of her own finances. The mother-of-six realized she knew nothing about her finances amid her divorce from the high-profile attorney after having a conversation with pal Shelli Azoff.
Jenner explained: "when I was going through my divorce [from Robert]," Azoff asked: "How much is your gardener?" The KUWTK reality star told her friend she had no idea, which puzzled Azoff, who questioned: "You don't know?"
"That was the turning point for me: I was embarrassed that I didn’t know," Jenner admitted to The Wall Street Journal.
“I woke up one day to responsibilities that I hadn’t had the day before," she recalled following her split. "And I needed to figure it out. And the good news is, I pay attention … I’m a quick study and I knew I had to get it together." After she took control of her financial affairs, she felt "such an enormous sense of accomplishment to be able to figure it all out and pay my own bills and make my own money and do my own taxes," Jenner shared.

"There were times when I didn’t have a lot of money," she admitted, "but I was very organized."
Jenner and Kardashian — whom Jenner met when she was 18 — dated for four years before tying the knot in 1978. Prior to their divorce, the famous couple welcomed children Kourtney, 41, Kim, 40, Khloé, 36, and Rob Jr., 34.
Jenner, who is currently waiting to launch her own skincare line, detailed the former flames' divorce on the “InCharge With DVF” podcast. "I got married when I was very, very young," the brunette beauty recalled, noting that she got married at 22. "Sooner or later during my life when I was in my 30s, I had an affair and my biggest regret was the fact that it broke up my family … it was my turn to really grow up."
After she and the power attorney split in March 1991, Jenner married Caitlyn Jenner, named Bruce at the time, one month later. The duo went on to welcome daughters Kendall and Kylie before they separated in 2015.
