“I just took a DNA test,” the 38-year-old blonde bombshell captioned the sexy snap via Instagram on May 15. “Turns out I’m….English/Northern European 46%, Scotland 25%, Wales 18%, Ireland 8%, Norway 3%.”
Rimes continued: “Representing my Irish ☘️ blood. Now all I need are several pints of @homeofguinness 🍻.”
Fans flooded her comment section. “And 100% beautiful and talented,” on user wrote, while another said: “So cute.” Many others simply replied with green hearts 💚and the fire emoji 🔥.
Other than her DNA results, the country superstar has a lot to celebrate in that she and hunky husband Eddie Cibrian recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary with a romantic getaway to Mexico hotspot Cabo San Lucas.

The delicious duo were all smiles on the beautiful sunny beach in Mexico and marked the major milestone with tequila shots, shirtless selfies by the water and a cute photo overlooking the gorgeous landscape.
In 2009, it was reported that Cibrian and Rimes were hooking up after meeting on the set of their Lifetime movie, Northern Lights. The “Blue” songstress was married to former backup dancer Dean Sheremet at the time, while Cibrian was married to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville.
Now that the coronavirus pandemic seems to be subsiding and live events are once again able to happen, Rimes is gearing up to embark on a tour across the United States, kicking things off in Chester, New York on September 19.
