The emotional reveal took place in a video shared on Knight's Instagram on May 24, where Phillips, 24, displayed genuine excitement upon receiving the offer to accompany Knight down the aisle during her wedding to Henry Brayshaw in October.

Knight humorously captioned the video, “Enough bridesmaids to start an army 😂 but wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Phillips responded in the comments, expressing her excitement with, “Best day ever!!! So so honour [sic].”

In a previous interview with Mamamia, Knight disclosed that several friends declined her bridesmaid invitations due to professional obligations.
She noted, “They were devastated,” explaining that their bosses were concerned about the optics of being associated with her.
Despite this, Knight remains optimistic, stating her understanding of her friends’ decisions, emphasizing the importance of their careers.
Knight has confirmed that she will have six bridesmaids, including Phillips. The couple met while working at a pub in Melbourne in 2016 and began dating in March 2025.
Knight expressed her joy about the engagement, stating, “A lot of people are like, ‘I don’t understand how this works.’ But we do, and that’s what’s important.”
