Lindsey Vonn Reveals She Is Still 'Friends' With Ex-Boyfriend Tiger Woods, Glad That He Is Healthy Following Car Accident
Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods are still close despite breaking up nearly seven years ago.
The Olympic skier, 37, revealed during an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she and the pro golfer, 46, — who dated from 2013 to 2015 — have remained "friends" since they went their separate ways.
"We are friends and, of course, I'm happy that he is back and healthy," Vonn explained of Tiger — who was injured in a car accident back in February.
"And, you know, it was a tough time for him. So I am just happy that he is back with his kids," the World Cup champion said of the PGA star — who shares daughter Sam Alexis Woods, 14, and son Charlie Axel Woods, 12, with ex-wife Elin Nordegren.
As OK! previously reported, shortly after news broke of Tiger's near fatal car crash, Vonn showed love for her former man as she tweeted: “Praying for TW right now.”

Vonn also opened up about the challenges of dating another famous person and having your relationship be in the public eye. "I just think, generally, it's really difficult to date anyone in the public eye, and I’ve always been a really open person. But I think I learned that there’s some things that need to be kept private," the athlete — who split with hockey player P.K. Subban in December 2020 — shared.
"And as much as I didn’t want to share everything that makes me happy and all the fun times that I had, that's also just for me and my partner, and I didn't need to share that."
"So it's difficult, obviously, being in this position because everyone wants a scoop and no one wants to know what I’m doing," Vonn admitted.
The former member of the U.S. Ski Team and Tiger met back in 2012 at a charity event shortly after Vonn had divorced ex-husband skier Thomas Vonn. The world renowned golfer was also coming off of a very public cheating scandal that resulted in his divorce from Nordegren, 42.
