Lisa Rinna Suggests Daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin's Split From Scott Disick Was Influenced By 'KUWTK' Alum's DM Scandal
Lisa Rinna is dishing the dirt on her daughter’s recent breakup.
Amelia Gray Hamlin — the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's 20-year-old daughter — called things off with TV personality Scott Disick in September.
The pair dated for less than a year before things got rocky between them — and Rinna, 58, confirmed that their relationship may have ended partially as a result of Disick’s recent DM drama.
The Talentless founder was exposed for sending private messages to Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Younes Bendjima on Instagram, in which he bashed the KUWTK alum’s whirlwind romance with drummer Travis Barker.
After Bendjima leaked the messages, the Flip It Like Disick star caught backlash for trashing Kardashian and appearing to be still hung up on his baby mama despite dating Hamlin.
Hamlin and Disick called things off shortly after the scandal, and now Rinna has addressed whether or not her daughter’s relationship came to an end because of the messages.
During the second part of the RHOBH season 11 reunion on Wednesday, October 20, host Andy Cohen insinuated that the breakup “had to do with the whole DM exchange that Scott got in.”
Rinna responded by admitting that the DM controversy wasn’t “helpful” to their relationship. However, she acknowledged that “there’s never one reason why I think people split up, you know.”
Cohen also asked if Rinna — who previously expressed that she was ‘nervous’ about her daughter’s relationship with the 38-year-old reality star — pushed her daughter to call things off.
Rinna insisted that her daughter, who seems to have spearheaded the breakup, made the decision “on her own.”
“Now’s the time to heal, now’s the time for everyone to heal,” Rinna added during the reunion special.
Disick’s breakup from Hamlin came as things heated up between the Poosh founder and her new rocker beau.
Over the weekend, the Blink-182 member popped the question to the TV personality, after the pair only went public with their relationship earlier this year.
While the new couple appear to be on cloud nine with each other, many are worried about Disick as he deals with Kardashian moving on.
OK! previously reported that the self-pronounced “Lord” wasn’t taking the news of his baby mama’s engagement very well.
“Scott is going crazy,” an insider said. “He’s going to go off the deep end. It’s about to get dark.”
Another source reported that Kardashian’s new engagement might make things complicated for family events, as Disick now “feels like an outcast” within the family.
The former flames dated on-and-off for years before calling it quits, and together they share three children: Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6.
