Love Island USA's JaNa Craig Reveals What Makes a Man 'Automatically Unattractive' as She Sounds Off on 'Biggest Red Flags' in a Potential Partner

JaNa Craig is putting credit scores at the top of her dating checklist.

The Love Island USA star — who recently reunited with Andy Cohen for Credit One Bank’s two-part You're the Credit One for Me: The Reunion special — exclusively reveals to OK! that a man’s financial habits can make him “automatically unattractive,” while also sharing the biggest red flags she looks out for in a potential partner.

“Oh my gosh, a hundred percent,” Craig says when asked whether someone’s credit habits impact how she views them. “A man that doesn't prioritize his credit automatically is, like, unattractive to me because how you manage your money kind of goes hand in hand with how you can manage other parts and aspects of your life.”

The reality star explains that financial responsibility often reflects how someone handles relationships as well.

“A man that basically knows how to prioritize and educate himself on how to better his credit score probably treats his woman better because he's been given better opportunities,” she shares. “When you manage your credit, you get more opportunities and more doors open, which allows you to take care of a woman better. One hundred percent. I 100 percent believe that.”

Craig didn’t stop there, as she also details the “biggest red flags” she notices when getting to know someone.

“My biggest red flag is definitely a guy that does not diversify his credit mix,” she mentions. “That should be a red flag to everyone that shows that his financial literacy is pretty low.”

She also calls out men who close credit cards immediately after paying them off, saying it can negatively impact their credit history.

“Not cute. Not attractive. No, thank you,” Craig quips.

Missing payments is another dealbreaker.

“A guy that missed payments — that means that he's not managing his money wisely,” she says.

Craig even argues that poor financial habits and poor communication may go hand in hand.

“Me personally, I think if a guy has bad credit, he probably does have bad communication,” she admits. “I do know that a man that does have good credit usually has great communication.”

Though the reality TV personality is open about what she wants in a partner, she remains private when it comes to her own love life.

“For the most part, I just really value my privacy, as well as the privacy of my loved ones,” Craig tells OK!. “I can't share too much, but I can say when you watch You're the Credit One for Me: The Reunion, you'll see exactly how my relationship with Alex unfolds.”

According to Craig, fans can expect “a lot of surprises” throughout the two-part reunion, which is moderated by the Watch What Happens Live host.

“Oh my gosh, I literally screamed,” she says of finding out Cohen would be hosting. “He is the king of reality, obviously, reunions. He was so sweet. He was so amazing.”

While she stays tight-lipped about where things stand with Alex today, Craig hints viewers will get some answers.

“We learn a lot about each other doing it. And who knows what the future holds?” she teases. “When you watch Part One and Two, you'll see what potentially my future can be like.”

Outside of romance, Craig says she is embracing an exciting new chapter in her life following her breakout run on Love Island USA.

“I am loving life right now. Life is so good,” she gushes. “All the opportunities coming my way — I'm just so grateful for them all.”

The fan favorite adds that she’s still a “yes girl,” saying she remains open to opportunities that align with her values.

“So I feel like the future is very bright,” Craig says. “It's all about momentum.”

Craig has also been keeping up with the newest class of Love Island USA stars and reveals she has privately offered support to some of the women from the latest season.

“We all follow each other on Instagram, so that's exciting,” she shares. “I've reached out to a few via DMs, just like support to the girls. Like, ‘Hey, I know it's going to be a crazy journey. I wish you nothing but the best. I'm here for you.’”

As for the comparisons fans continue to make between her original “PPG” trio and newer villa friendships, Craig is flattered.

“We're the originals, but we love the girls that come after,” she notes. “Sisterhood is such a beautiful thing, and we hope that everyone else following us gets to experience it.”
