Madeline Zima remembered her 'Heroes' co-star Hayden Panettiere as a kind and loving person.
Madeline said she is speaking out with the hope that Hayden's daughter will eventually "get to know her mom through the love and stories of others."
Hayden shares Kaya with boxer Wladimir Klitschko. The couple started their relationship in 2009, and her former fiancé obtained full custody of Kaya in 2018.

The actresses worked together on Heroes, where Hayden was a lead cast member, and Madeline joined during the show's final season. They also had a notable kissing scene in Season 4.

Hayden Panettiere Fans Honor Her 'Scream' Role With Memorial Tribute
Hayden Panettiere's growing memorial featured flowers, signs and a tribute to her 'Scream' role.
Per TMZ, a growing memorial for Hayden outside the South Carolina apartment complex where she died featured flowers, signs, and a recognizable tribute to one of her best-known roles.
A Scream mask was placed among more than a dozen bouquets and floral arrangements at the Judson Mill Lofts in Greenville.
The mask carried a message honoring Special Agent Kirby Reed, the character she first played in 2011's Scream 4 before reprising the role in Scream VI in 2023.
Beneath the mask was a sign that read, "R.I.P. Hayden!! We Love you!!"
The message also included Hayden's birth and death dates.
Hayden Panettiere's Death Remained Under Investigation
Hayden Panettiere died after going into cardiac arrest, with the investigation into her death remaining ongoing.
Hayden died on Sunday, August 16, after going into cardiac arrest at a South Carolina apartment complex. Her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother, Zach Hickerson, were at the residence when first responders arrived.
The investigation into her death remains ongoing, with the Drug Enforcement Administration now also involved.
