Matt James Posts First Photo With Rachael Kirkconnell Since Getting Back Together
It's official! Matt James has posted his first picture with Rachael Kirkconnell since the pair got back together.
The former Bachelor posted a photo on Instagram on Thursday, May 27, which showed Kirkconnell hugging a child during an outing which is believed to be part of his ABC Food Tours organization. In the photo, the 29-year-old watched the interaction.
"The gift of conversation lies less in displaying it ourselves than in drawing it out of others," he captioned the post. "Today we began a series focused on financial literacy (savings accounts, what is crypto currency, budgeting, etc.)"
He continued, "Our goal is (and always has been) to provide access to resources, individuals, & opportunities so that our students can make informed decisions for themselves and their families."
Fans and friends took to the comments to discuss the moment.
"Proud of y’all," Emmanuel Acho, who stepped in for Chris Harrison to host James' After The Final Rose special, wrote.

During season 25 of The Bachelor, a number of allegations of racism against Kirkconnell surfaced, such as an image of her at an Antebellum-themed formal.

James and Kirkconnell initially split amid the allegations and the 24-year-old apologized for her "racist" and "offensive" past actions.
Since then they have been on and off again to the confusion of fans.
In April, they were spotted in New York City together but were not said to be dating. The same month, a woman named Grace came forward and claimed that she was talking to James while Kirkconnell visited him, which is said to have left Kirkconnell "very hurt."
Later in April, they reconnected in California. "Rachael wanted to hear him out, and since then they’ve had a chance to talk about it and work it out,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. "Her feelings hadn’t gone away overnight. She’s giving him another chance."
"I’ve seen Rachael a handful of times," James then confirmed to PEOPLE. "I’m not pursuing any relationships right now outside of that. I said I was going to focus on my relationship with her and that means focusing on it."
Earlier this month, James explained on the "Pomp" podcast that Kirkconnell offered him an "ultimatum." "She was like, 'If you're going to make this work, let's do it. But, if you're not going to make it work, I'm going to let you do your own thing,'" he explained and said that was the push he needed.
"It's been great. It was honestly a commitment that we made to each other that we were going to work on the relationship," he gushed.
James also admitted that at one point he wasn't "really honoring" his commitment Kirkconnell, which may be a nod to Grace.
The pair did not leave The Bachelor engaged and Kirkconnell may not be wearing a ring for some time now.
"They are just soaking up every moment when they are together and want to go steady for a bit before taking the next steps," a source told Us Weekly.
