Matthew Mindler Who Starred Alongside Paul Rudd In 'Our Idiot Brother' Is Reported Missing From His Pennsylvania College
A child actor is reportedly missing in action.
Matthew Mindler, who once starred in the 2011 comedy, "My Idiot Brother" with Paul Rudd, is missing from his Pennsylvania college.
According to TMZ, authorities have stated that the Millersville University freshman was reported missing late on Wednesday, August 25, after not being seen or heard from since Tuesday night.
The 19-year-old college student, according to police, failed to return phone calls from family members and did not return to his dorm at the Millersville campus.
Mindler, who has not starred in a film for several years, reportedly has not been to any of his classes since Tuesday night but did show up for all of this Monday and Tuesday classroom hours.
Authorities say that Mindler was last seen on surveillance footage after leaving his dorm room at 8:11pm on Tuesday, August 24. He was wearing a black backpack, white sneakers, jeans and a Millersville University hoodie with black detailing on the arm.

According to the news outlet, tips are coming in from all over and the authorities are doing their best to stay on top of any leads that come in.
The University released a statement via Instagram in an effort to find Mindler that stated, "🚨PLEASE SHARE 🚨Police are asking for help in finding 20-year-old Matthew Mindler, a first-year student from Hellertown, PA, who has been missing since Tuesday evening August 24, 2021. Matt was reported missing to University Police late last evening after he did not return to his room or return phone calls from his family."
"Matt was last seen walking from his residence hall, West Villages toward the Centennial Dr. parking lot area at 8:11 p.m. Tuesday night. He was wearing a white Millersville University hooded sweatshirt with black stripes on the arm, a black backpack, jeans and white sneakers (swipe to see photos). Matt attended classes Monday and Tuesday but did not attend yesterday or this morning," the message went on to say.
The post explained, "University Police are in contact with Matt’s mother and are working with campus staff for assistance in locating Matt. University Police filed a missing adult report with the National Crime Information Center this afternoon, less than 24 hours after the initial report and have also notified local police departments."
The college ended the statement with information on who to contact with tips or other information on where the former actor might be.
