The formerly staunch Trump supporter reluctantly pointed to shifting voter sentiment amid a challenging economic and foreign policy landscape.
She reflected on public frustration regarding tariffs, rising gas prices, ongoing military conflicts, and household financial strains under the Trump administration.
Megyn Kelly Says Voters Are Leaning Toward Democrats
Megyn Kelly said some of Donald Trump's supporters are turning on him.
"They feel they gave Trump a year and a half. He's done nothing but make things worse," Kelly said of the president's supporters. “This is how they feel. You read the polls. They're p-----, they're not feeling pro-GOP right now for a variety of reasons."
A Fox News poll showed 52 percent of registered voters trusted Democrats more on economic handling.
Her commentary aligns with broader public data.
She pointed to a Fox News poll, noting, "52 percent say they prefer Democrats compared to 48 percent who say they like the Republicans when it comes to who should manage the economy."
"They don't tend to like the tariffs," the former Fox News host said. "They don't like the war. They don't like what's happening in their bank accounts, and they're starting to think Democrats may be the better option on the economy.”

Megyn Kelly listed the war and tariffs as reasons why voters aren't happy with the president.

"Democrats are ALWAYS better on the economy," one said.

One critic claimed Donald Trump 'doesn't care about anything but himself.'
"It's about time! Vote BLUE! Impeach, 25th Amendment, lock his criminal a-- up in prison. Trump is the worst president in the history of America,” exclaimed another on X.
Others were incredulous of Kelly’s previous support for the president, with one adding, "I honestly don't see how you didn't see this coming. It's been blatantly obvious that Trump doesn't care about anything but himself."
