'You got an F as a parent,' Megyn Kelly scoffed.

"If your child gets to the age of majority and doesn't feel safe, loved, and cherished, you blew it," Megyn said. "You failed at your job as a mother or father, you did. You failed. That's the ultimate F. You got an F as a parent. You made a bunch of money off of your daughter."

Megyn Kelly called Hayden Panettiere's parents 'losers.'

"You probably have a super nice car and a big house. You failed. You raised someone to the age of majority who doesn't feel safe, loved, or cherished. You're a loser. Both parents here. I don't give him a pass just because [Skip] was a fireman," Megyn scoffed.

Hayden previously spoke about the troubled relationship she had with Lesley, saying this past May in an interview with Jay Shetty that having her mom as her manager took a toll on her.

Hayden Panettiere's brother, Jensen, died in 2023 at the age of 28.

“Everything was business,” the Nashville star recalled. “I became the confidant and the assistant and the therapist and the shoulder to cry on and everything but her child.”

She told Us Weekly in May that her bond with her mother was practically nonexistent, adding she had a stronger relationship with her father.

Megyn continued to criticize Skip and Lesley, wondering why they didn't "protect" Hayden throughout her career, which began when she was just a kid.

Hayden Panettiere had a rocky relationship with her mother, Lesley Vogel.

"By the time she reached adulthood — and by the way, both children wound up hooked on some sort of substances — did she not feel loved or cherished by anybody," the anchorwoman said, also referring to Hayden's younger brother, Jensen, who died in 2023.

Jensen passed away at the age of 28 from aortic valve complications arising from an enlarged heart, but he also struggled with addiction.

"When you bring them into the world, you must raise them, and you must raise them well and lovingly," Megyn went on. "It's part of the societal cultural contract, not to mention a religious one. it's required of you, as a Christian. They must honor and respect you, and you must take care of them with a loving, firm hand."
