Country music queen Miranda Lambert shocked fans when she married former NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin three months after meeting him on the set of Good Morning America in November 2018.
Their relationship was quickly put to the test, as the coronavirus pandemic hit shortly after their marriage.
During the onset of the pandemic, the 37-year-old country crooner used her incredibly ripped beau as “free” labor for her music video for the hit song, “Settling Down.” This was the first time that Lambert has ever included a significant other in any of her music videos.
“It’s kinda funny that my husband's my first one,” she told radio station New York’s County 94.7 at the time. "I’m like, 'You’re cute, you’re here.' It was fun; he did such a great job.”
Following his impressive debut in her music video, OK! exclusively learned that Lambert thinks her sexy husband “is a natural in front of the camera” and is ready to help him find his big break as a model or actor. "He's got good looks and a big personality," an insider dished.
While the couple has been mostly holed up at Lambert's Nashville estate, the source said she's organized an extended stay in McLoughlin's native NYC so that he can enroll in acting classes. "Miranda believes being a two-career couple will strengthen their marriage and put them on equal footing," explained the source. "Brendan's willing to put in the work, and Miranda's determined to use her clout to make him a star."

McLoughlin retired from the NYPD and now works as part of Lambert’s security team and was often seen keeping an eye out on the wild crowds during her concerts (before the pandemic).
He is a father. He welcomed his first child with ex, Kaihla Rettinger, in November 2018, according to PEOPLE.
McLoughlin is an animal lover like his wife. Lambert created the animal charity “MuttNation,” and her husband often helps her with pet rescue.
When he was 19, he created a profile on modeling network site Model Mayhem. “My name is Brendan McLoughlin. I am on this site to build my portfolio… My style is all American boy/ Abercrombie/ sporty but I'm open minded,” his bio read (with a sexy shot of the former NYPD officer).
Lambert and McLoughlin met at his former job. The country star was performing on GMA in November 2018, and McLoughlin was stationed at the Times Square precinct, where the ABC morning show is filmed.
