Mitch McConnell’s chief of staff Terry Carmack refused to answer questions about the Kentucky senator's health outside of his Washington D.C. home on Thursday, August 6.
The GOP lawmaker, 84, was reportedly discharged from a rehab center last week after being hospitalized back in June.

McConnell's right-hand man — who allegedly rakes in $226,850 a year — ignored reporters' inquiries about McConnell's well-being in an X video captured by political correspondent Nicholas Ballasy.
A healthcare worker was also spotted going into the politician's home following his rehab release.

McConnell’s operations director, Melissa Bennett, also declined to answer questions about McConnell on Friday, August 7.
She was asked why the attorney hasn’t released a video since his absence from the Senate began almost 60 days ago.

Terry Carmack was spotted heading into Mitch McConnell's home earlier this month.
McConnell was hospitalized on June 14 following a fall that occurred almost a month earlier. He was found unconscious at his Washington, D.C., home and was given CPR before being transported to the medical center.
He reportedly suffered cardiac arrest and his office shared an official statement on July 11 regarding his health status.
"Senator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he's receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital. The senator continues to improve and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session. Thanks for continuing to check in," the spokesperson said.
The Kentucky Representative Has Not Been Seen Publicly For Almost 2 Months
Mitch McConnell was discharged from a rehab center earlier this month.
McConnell has not been seen publicly since his hospitalization and rehabilitation stay, however, two photos showing the smiling representative with his wife Elaine Chao were released earlier this summer.
On August 6, the Republican senator released a statement after his exit from rehab on social media.
“I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home. Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I’ve received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff," he said.

Mitch McConnell and his wife Elaine Chao smiled in a photo amid his hospital stay last month.
“On the advice of my doctors, I maintain an intensive regimen of physical therapy from home during the state work period, and I’ll continue to engage with my staff and colleagues on important Senate business,” he concluded.
On Saturday, August 8, social media footage showing two MCombo power lift recliners were seen in McConnell's residence.
The loungers are described as motorized chairs designed to assist seniors, post-surgery patients and individuals with mobility issues to help them safely sit down and stand up.
