Natalie Harp has spent months close to President Donald Trump’s side. This week, Sen. Jon Ossoff put her name at the center of politics.

The Georgia Democrat, who is running for reelection and already drawing 2028 speculation, referenced Trump’s 35-year-old aide during a rally in Atlanta, saying the president “doesn’t want to do the job” and would rather “build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the Emir of Qatar.”

The line quickly ricocheted from the campaign trail to cable news, conservative media and the Oval Office.

Donald Trump and his allies pushed back against Jon Ossoff’s remarks.

Trump responded by dismissing Ossoff as “a Pee-wee Herman look-alike.” Other allies went harder.

On X, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung called him “the biggest c--- loser in politics,” while White House spokesman Davis Ingle said, “Nobody gives a s--- what this lightweight loser says.”

Scott Jennings, the CNN conservative commentator rumored to be in the mix for White House press secretary, called Ossoff a “garbage human” and described the Harp remark as “vile.”

Reports about Natalie Harp’s efforts to stay near Donald Trump drew attention to her role.

Harp is Trump’s executive assistant and personal aide, known in White House circles as the “human printer” because she reportedly prints out favorable articles for him and helps with Truth Social posts.

CNN drew attention for reporting that Harp once “jumped into an SUV trunk” to accompany Trump to an October 2023 court appearance when there was not enough room in the vehicle.

The White House has rejected the coverage. Ingle in a statement to Fox News called Harp “one of the most loyal and hardest-working aides on President Trump's team.”

“The Fake News’s continued attacks on President Trump and his administration prove exactly why trust in media is at historic lows,” he said.

Ossoff Keeps Going

Jon Ossoff continued defending his criticism by pointing to the responsibilities of White House aides.

“It’s been amazing to watch this White House meltdown over this all week,” Ossoff said during an August 19 appearance on The Last Word.

He argued that Harp and other aides are not private citizens but “adults, public officials paid by the taxpayer, with immense power in positions of public trust.”

“And whether it’s Natalie Harp printing out Donald Trump’s daily dose of delusion and flattery, or [senior trade and manufacturing adviser] Peter Navarro steering taxpayer-funded loans to Trump family investments, or [Defense Secretary] Pete Hegseth deluding the president daily into deepening this quagmire in the Middle East, no one cares about their feelings,” Ossoff said.
