Natalie Harp's Deleted January 6 Posts Add Fuel to Donald Trump Aide Frenzy

Natalie Harp was already having the kind of week that turns a behind-the-scenes aide into a national fixation.

Now her deleted social media history has given the story another charge.

CNN reported that Harp, now President Donald Trump’s 35-year-old executive assistant, posted more than 150 times on January 6, 2021, when she was an anchor at One America News Network.

The posts reportedly amplified Trump’s false claims that the 2020 election had been stolen and urged Republicans to “FIGHT FOR TRUMP.”

According to CNN, Harp praised the crowd gathering in Washington as “patriots” and wrote that “today we STOP THE STEAL!” She also shared rhetoric from Trump allies, including Rudy Giuliani’s “trial by combat” line, which his lawyers later argued was “hyperbolic.”

As Trump spoke near the White House, CNN reported that Harp tweeted, “FIGHT FOR TRUMP!” repeatedly in one post and live-tweeted his speech, including the line, “We will never give up. We will never concede!”

After rioters breached the Capitol, Harp reportedly shared posts suggesting they were “not Trump supporters” and circulated false claims about Antifa involvement. She later shared Trump’s calls for the rioters to leave.

CNN reporter Isabel Chapman described the posts on CNN News Central as “a public display of fealty.”

The posts add another layer to the fascination around Harp, whose closeness to Trump has become late-night material and campaign-trail shorthand.

The Daily Beast previously reported on Harp’s old X account, including posts that framed Trump in almost religious terms. In one 2019 message, Harp quoted Philippians 1:3 while addressing Trump: “Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.”

Harp’s account appears to have been suspended, CNN reported, though it is unclear when it was taken down or whether Harp or the platform removed the posts.

Harp’s name broke widely after Sen. Jon Ossoff mocked Trump at a rally, saying the president would rather “travel with Natalie” and build a White House ballroom than do his job. The White House’s furious response to questions about the line helped keep her in the headlines.

Since then, attention has turned to reports about Harp’s access and devotion to Trump, including letters published by The Daily Beast in which she reportedly wrote that he was “all that matters to me.”
