The White House cropped and edited President Donald Trump's close aide, Natalie Harp, out of its official social media coverage of the Freedom 250 Grand Prix.

The tightly edited video footage — shared across official White House accounts, First Lady Melania Trump’s profile and the race's official Instagram page — focused strictly on Donald and Melania, largely eliminating Natalie and other attendees from the background.

Media analysis by The Daily Beast and Rolling Stone noted that footage of the president waving the green flag was cropped so narrowly that it removed the surrounding context.

While original broadcast footage from Fox Sports briefly showed the aide smiling and clapping a few feet behind the first couple, the White House version completely omitted her from those frames.

The published montage cycled through scenes at a pace designed to frame the event as a dual appearance by the president and first lady.

The digital removal of Natalie comes amid intense public scrutiny and aggressive damage control by the administration regarding her role.

Days before the race, The Daily Beast published private 2023 letters from Natalie to Donald. In them, she described him as "all that matters to me" and her "Guardian and Protector," raising public questions about her security clearance and the nature of their relationship.

Reports indicate that Natalie’s near-constant presence beside the president has been a source of irritation for Melania.

Viral unedited clips from the Grand Prix showed Melania abruptly standing up and walking away just as Natalie stepped into the immediate viewing area, fueling fierce online speculation.
