Donald Trump's Loyal Aide Natalie Harp Was Granted Special Privilege in 2024, Author Claims

As speculation grows over the nature of the relationship between President Donald Trump and his ubiquitous 35-year-old aide, Natalie Harp, author Michael Wolff revealed that concerns first peaked when a special privilege was granted to Harp but denied to other staffers.

The special privilege was unfettered access to the exclusive Sunday buffet at Trump’s golf club in Palm Beach, Fla.

According to Wolff, speaking on The Daily Beast’s “Inside Trump's Head” podcast, this perk became a defining moment of tension during the 2024 campaign.

Standard campaign staffers are strictly barred from accessing the golf club's buffet, however, Harp was allowed into the buffet every Sunday. She was even permitted to bring her mother along.

Wolff noted that it sparked widespread questioning among the team and golf club employees about her rapid rise and the unprecedented boundaries she had crossed.

"The staffers... like, I mean, they get teary-eyed, their eyes roll back, because they’re actually not allowed to go to the buffet,” Wolff said, adding that Harp was “always allowed into the buffet. Not just Natalie, but Natalie with her mother.”

The privilege perturbed members of Trump’s other staff.

“Among the staff there was like, ‘Is she allowed to do that? Should she be doing that?’” he recounted. “And then the people at the golf club serving this: ‘Should we? ...She says that the president says she can be here, but can she be here?’”

“That became... a major moment within the campaign: Natalie at the buffet,” Wolff said.

The buffet revelation follows a wave of scrutiny regarding Harp's immense proximity to the president.

The Daily Beast recently published deeply emotional letters Harp wrote to Trump, professing absolute devotion and calling him her "guardian and protector." Wolff noted that alarmed staffers had quietly circulated these notes out of concern over the nature of their relationship.

Reports from MS NOW indicate that Harp went more than a year without securing routine West Wing security clearances despite her constant presence in high-level meetings.

Secret Service was alarmed by this access.

“They were worried that this person, Natalie Harp, who was then 30 years old... no background whatsoever, had came to... take more and more and more of... candidate Trump’s attention, and become more and more central to what he knew, what he believed, the opinions that he had at any given moment,” Wolff said.

The White House has heavily defended Harp against Wolff's claims, with spokesperson Davis Ingle calling her "one of the most loyal and hardest-working aides on President Trump's team" while dismissing Wolff as a serial liar.

“Michael Wolff is a professional scumbag and serial liar whose brain has been completely warped by his severe and incurable disease known as Trump Derangement Syndrome,” he told The Daily Beast.
