'RHOA' Alum NeNe Leakes Says Husband Gregg Leakes 'Is At Home Dying' Following Cancer Return
Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes appears to have shared some sad news about her husband Gregg Leakes' cancer battle.
The reality star was recorded telling customers in her Atlanta lounge, The Linnethia, that her husband is not doing well after customers called her "rude" for not addressing someone's birthday.
"My husband is transitioning to the other side," the 53-year-old said in footage obtained by It's OnSite.
"You don’t know what we’re dealing with right now. We walked in this lounge because we had to walk in this lounge because this is our business. So, when people approach and say, 'you’re rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday,' my husband is at home dying. I don’t want to say 'happy birthday,'" she told those who called her out.
"Sometimes you don't know what people are dealing with," she said.
NeNe also took to Instagram where she posted a black image with the word "Broken" followed by a prayer emoji and a broken heart. "🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾," she captioned the post.
Fans and friends took to the comment section to offer their support.
"♥️," Nicki Minaj commented.
"🙏🏾 Praying for you all during this difficult time," Porsha Williams wrote.
"Love and prayers for you always," Todd Chrisley offered.

NeNe confirmed that her husband's cancer returned in June. She appeared on Instagram Live with The Jasmine Brand and said he was in the hospital.
"It's difficult," she said at the time, remarking the 66-year-old was "different" this time around. "I'd love for everybody to pray for Gregg, that would be beautiful. Pray for his strength," she asked viewers, "and pray for me too."
"Hey guys....I was really caught off guard in that interview when asked about Gregg!" she posted on Instagram afterward. "He’s a private person so i hadn’t said anything publicly (his wishes) (Only our circle really know details) and really sometimes it’s best that way because people just read into it whatever they want too and family....whew Chileeeeee i just can’t."
"Thank you for your many prayers🙏🏾 text messages and calls," she said at the time. "Gregg says to me...keep smiling 😊"
Gregg previously battled with stage three colon cancer. Fans watched the TV personality care for her husband during season 11 of RHOA.
"We are overjoyed to say, we saw the doctors for the results of Gregg’s Pet Scan he took last week! Test show, wait for It.....WE ARE CANCER FREE!!! Yes God!" NeNe gushed in May 2019.
Gregg's illness put a strain on the pair's marriage. The two first tied the knot in 1997 before they split in 2011, only to remarry two years later. However, during a RHOA reunion special in April 2019, NeNe admitted that she had been considering a second divorce due to his attitude while undergoing chemotherapy.
"It's very, very hard to be a caretaker," NeNe previously told PEOPLE. "People call and they say, 'How's Gregg doing?' and I want to throw the phone and say, 'How the f**k am I doing? I'm going crazy over here, Gregg is wearing me out!' I am not good at this s**t! I would rather hire somebody. Gregg doesn't wants me to hire somebody, but I'm just not good. I'm not good at fluffing the pillow; I'm good at buying the pillow."
